Umpqua River Fishing

Some of Oregon’s best river fishing takes place in the Umpqua River. Here you’ll have the opportunity to catch a wide variety of fish. In the spring and fall, you can catch large Chinook salmon, and during the summer and winter runs, you’ll find a plentiful supply of steelhead. The coho respond best in the fall. And throughout the entire fishing season, you can catch non-native smallmouth bass, shad, or giant striped bass.
